# CLT Token

## Overview

CLT is the native protocol token of the CoinLotto ecosystem. It is used to enter Super Lotteries and is earned through Protocol Lottery participation, Missions, and referral rewards.

CLT connects player activity across the protocol with access to Super Lottery participation.

## Supply

CLT has a fixed maximum supply of **1,000,000,000 CLT**.

The full supply is minted once into the CLT Reserve, with no team or investor allocation at mint. The supply cannot be increased.

## What CLT is used for

CLT is used to enter Super Lotteries and serves as the reward token for CoinLotto’s incentive mechanisms.

Additional uses may be introduced in future protocol releases.

## How to earn CLT

At launch, CoinLotto does not sell CLT. Eligible sources include:

* **CLT Reward per Ticket** from Protocol Lotteries. The exact reward is shown on the lottery card before ticket purchase.
* **Missions**.
* **Referral Welcome Bonus** — a one-time 10 CLT reward for the referrer when a referred user purchases their first Protocol Lottery ticket.
* **CLT Referral Bonus** — a referrer earns 5% of the CLT Reward per Ticket when a referred user buys a ticket in a Protocol Lottery.

Because CLT is an ERC-20 token, users may independently transfer or trade it where external liquidity exists.

## Claiming CLT

CLT rewards are claimed manually by the wallet that earned them. Claims are token-specific and do not expire.

## Using CLT

CLT is primarily used to participate in Super Lotteries.

Instead of purchasing Super Lottery tickets with another supported token, participants use CLT to enter. This creates a direct connection between activity in the protocol and access to Super Lottery participation.

## Relationship with Protocol Lotteries

Protocol Lotteries are the primary source of newly distributed CLT rewards.

By participating in Protocol Lotteries, users gradually accumulate CLT that can later be used within the ecosystem.

Each Protocol Lottery also directs a configured portion of its ticket revenue to one linked Super Lottery, helping fund Super Lottery Prize Pools.

## Relationship with Super Lottery

Super Lottery participation requires CLT.

Rather than functioning as a speculative requirement, CLT acts as the participation token for this lottery type.

## Multi-chain

CLT is available across all supported CoinLotto blockchain networks. Holders can bridge CLT between supported networks through LayerZero.

Balances and earned rewards are tracked independently on each supported network.

## Transparency

CLT distribution follows predefined protocol rules. Every earned reward, claim, and token transfer is publicly verifiable on-chain.
