# Compare Lotteries

CoinLotto has three lottery types: Protocol Lotteries, Super Lotteries, and User-Created Lotteries.

They operate within the same CoinLotto protocol, but differ in who launches them, how players enter, and the role they play in the ecosystem.

## Shared lottery model

Every lottery type follows the same core rules:

* Each ticket receives a unique on-chain ticket number at purchase.
* Lottery rules are fixed when the lottery is created.
* Draw outcomes and Prize Pool activity are publicly verifiable on-chain.
* The entire final Prize Pool is distributed under the configured Prize Distribution model.
* Prizes, rewards, and fees are claimed manually by the wallets entitled to them.
