How is fairness guaranteed?

Trust is built into the protocol, not into an operator.
  • Fully on-chain: smart contracts execute and record all core logic - lottery creation, ticket numbering, Prize Pool accounting, referral binding, Mission progress, draw execution, and claims; the interface is an access point, not the source of truth, and no off-chain backend or manual approval can change outcomes.
  • Immutable contracts: all CoinLotto smart contracts are immutable and cannot be upgraded or modified; once a lottery is live, its rules cannot change.
  • Verifiable randomness: Chainlink VRF 2.5 with on-chain proof verification.
  • Non-custodial Prize Pools: funds move only under the lottery’s encoded rules; neither CoinLotto nor a Creator can withdraw, reassign, or transfer a Prize Pool.
  • Independent audit: The current CertiK audit status and available materials are maintained on Audit & Contract Verification.
See Fairness and Transparency for the complete trust and verification model.

What is the status of the smart contract audit?

See Audit & Contract Verification for the current CertiK audit status and available materials.

Who holds the prize money? How secure are my funds?

Each Prize Pool is held by immutable smart contracts - not by CoinLotto, a Creator, or a third-party custodian. Funds can move only under the lottery’s encoded rules. Only the wallet that earned a prize, reward, or fee can claim it: the protocol verifies ownership before every claim, and no administrator, creator, or third party can claim on another wallet’s behalf.

Can the rules change after a lottery goes live?

No. Every lottery is created with a fixed configuration that cannot be changed once live. Some protocol-level parameters (for example, maximum lottery duration, permitted Win Rate and Multiplier ranges, maximum prize tiers) may be updated over time, but updates apply only to newly created lotteries and never alter an active lottery, its rules, or its Prize Pool. User-affecting changes are published in the Changelog and official Discord before they take effect, with the current value, user impact, and effective date.

How does CoinLotto handle sanctions and illicit activity?

CoinLotto uses the Chainalysis Oracle to screen wallet addresses against applicable sanctions data under the protocol’s rules. This is programmatic screening at the protocol level - no personal profiles or identity documents are collected.

How is my privacy protected?

There are no accounts and no identity submission; participation is wallet-based, and your activity is recorded on-chain under your wallet address - transparent, but pseudonymous. CoinLotto never has access to your private keys or seed phrase; only your wallet can authorize transactions and claims.

How can I verify everything myself?

You do not need to rely on the CoinLotto interface. On supported blockchain explorers you can verify lottery transactions and contract state directly: ticket purchases, Prize Pool balances and top-ups, draw requests and results, and claims.

Can I use multiple wallets?

The protocol treats every wallet address as a separate participant: CLT balances, Mission progress, and referral relationships are per-wallet (and per-network) and are never merged. Switching the active wallet in your wallet app switches your CoinLotto identity.
