CoinLotto uses ERC-20 tokens only. Protocol Lotteries and User-Created Lotteries use an entry token selected for each lottery. Each lottery displays its entry token before purchase. Super Lotteries accept only CLT for ticket purchases. When creating a User-Created Lottery, a Creator can select a token from the CoinLotto token list or enter the contract address of any ERC-20 token. For CLT’s official contract addresses and their publication status on each network, see CLT Token.

Unverified token label

CoinLotto checks token listings against CoinGecko. If a token is not listed on CoinGecko, it is marked Unverified on the lottery card in the CoinLotto interface. The Unverified label is informational only. A CoinGecko listing is not a security review or a guarantee that a token is compatible with CoinLotto. It does not affect the token’s on-chain behavior or prevent it from being used in a lottery. If you believe a token has been marked Unverified incorrectly, contact CoinLotto support.

Token compatibility and risks

Creators can choose an ERC-20 token without protocol-managed asset approval. Open selection does not guarantee compatibility with every token’s mechanics. The protocol’s accounting assumes that token balances do not change independently of transfers. Some tokens charge transfer fees, restrict transfers, or change balances through rebasing. Checks during ticket purchases and Prize Pool Top-Ups reject transfers that do not produce the expected balance changes, but they do not prevent later changes caused by the token itself. A negative rebase reduces token balances after funds have been deposited. Recorded prize, fee, and withdrawal amounts may remain unchanged, leaving insufficient tokens to pay them and causing claims to fail. Lotteries using the same token can share a manager balance, so a shortfall may affect more than one lottery. A failed claim does not by itself erase the recorded entitlement, but it may remain unpayable while funds are insufficient. Displayed amounts do not guarantee the amount ultimately received. Before creating or entering a lottery, review the token issuer’s documentation and understand its balance and transfer mechanisms.
