What lottery types does CoinLotto have, and how do they differ?

CoinLotto has three lottery types on the same protocol infrastructure.
  • Protocol Lottery - launched by CoinLotto, tickets in the entry token set for the lottery; the primary participation path, offers CLT Reward per Ticket and Missions, funds Super Lottery Prize Pools.
  • Super Lottery - launched by CoinLotto, tickets in CLT; a less frequent, larger Prize Pool event funded by linked Protocol Lottery allocations.
  • User-Created Lottery - launched by a Creator, tickets in a creator-selected ERC-20 token; permissionless lottery creation for communities, creators, projects, and partners.
All three follow the same core rules: unique on-chain ticket numbers at purchase, fixed rules from creation, publicly verifiable draws and Prize Pools, full Prize Pool distribution at finalization, and manual claims by the entitled wallets. See Compare Lotteries for a detailed comparison.

What is a Protocol Lottery?

Protocol Lotteries are CoinLotto’s primary lottery type. They run more frequently, and every ticket purchase does three things at once:
  • enters you into that lottery’s draw;
  • earns you the CLT Reward per Ticket displayed on the lottery card before purchase;
  • directs 10% of ticket revenue to one linked Super Lottery Prize Pool (transferred immediately with each purchase).
Protocol Lotteries are also the only lottery type where Missions can be completed. See Protocol Lottery for the complete model.

What is the Super Lottery and how do I enter?

Super Lotteries are less frequent, larger Prize Pool events launched by CoinLotto. Tickets are purchased with CLT - the token you earn through Protocol Lottery play, Missions, and referrals. The Super Lottery Prize Pool itself is funded separately, by the 10% allocations from linked Protocol Lotteries, and is paid out in the entry token of those lotteries. A Super Lottery may receive allocations from multiple linked Protocol Lotteries, and CoinLotto can operate multiple Super Lotteries. Super Lotteries do not provide a CLT Reward per Ticket, and Missions are not available in them. A 5% CLT Protocol Fee applies to CLT used to enter. See Super Lottery for Prize Pool funding and entry details.

Can anyone create a lottery on CoinLotto?

Yes. Launching a User-Created Lottery is permissionless: any wallet can do it through CoinLotto. The Creator configures the lottery at creation, and once live its rules cannot be changed. See Launch a Lottery for the full creator flow.
