The Prize Pool is the total token amount that will be awarded to winning ticket holders when a lottery draw is finalized. Each Prize Pool is held by immutable smart contracts, not by CoinLotto, a Creator, or a third-party custodian.

Prize Pool formula

The Prize Pool is formed differently for each lottery type.

Protocol Lottery

Super Lottery

Received Allocations come from linked Protocol Lotteries. A Super Lottery may receive allocations from multiple Protocol Lotteries. CLT used to enter a Super Lottery does not form part of its Prize Pool. The related CLT Protocol Fee is accounted for separately. See Fees and CLT Tokenomics.

User-Created Lottery

See Fees for the current Protocol Fee, Super Lottery Allocation, and Creator Fee rates.

Prize Pool Top-Ups

A Prize Pool Top-Up is transferred in full to the target lottery’s Prize Pool. No Protocol Fee, Creator Fee, or Super Lottery allocation applies to a top-up. A top-up does not create tickets or change lottery rules or Prize Distribution.

Final distribution

When a draw is finalized, the entire final Prize Pool is distributed to the winning ticket holders under the lottery’s configured Prize Distribution model. Winning prizes become claimable by the winning wallet after draw finalization. See Claiming Rewards for the manual claim flow.

Public verification

Prize Pool activity is publicly verifiable on-chain. Participants can verify the current Prize Pool, ticket-purchase activity, and Prize Pool Top-Ups.
